Centuries upon centuries have slowly shaped these ancient trees during their natural growth in the wild forest of Pasha Mountain, at 1,850 asl. This brew has the full flower taste typical of the Menghai area. It boasts a round and fresh palate even when prepared just before fermentation.
Harvested in Spring 2019
In the ancient tea tree forest of Pasha Mountain, the leaves are carefully hand-picked and processed by one of the best tea masters of the area in order to obtain the centuries old flavor of our authentic pu’er tea.
This shengpu has not undergone any accelerated fermentation process, as such a process would undermine the high quality of the leaves.
This tea changes according to the location and season. The flavor continues to transform over time, incorporating the aromas of the places you transport it to.
At Eastern Leaves we are amazed by the growth and changes of pu’er sheng. Fascinatingly, it is able to translate time into flavor. We hope that you can appreciate its qualities as much as we do.
It is available in loose leaf form (50 or 100 gr.) or 250 gr. pressed-cake format.
