It is rare for a red tea to have such an intense fragrance, bringing the typical under-forest scents that Nannuo Mountain is famous for. The infusion is red-gold, the flavour is complex yet pretty gentle, with sweet notes.
This tea is called Dianhong, that means "Yunnan Gold", and it is a very typical red tea from Yunnan. It is naturally oxidised in bamboo chests, and it is dried under the sunlight, like a pu'er sheng pu: it assures the widest and most complex range of flavours, that last well over the years.
