2024 Yueguangbai White Tea, Ancient Tree - Autumn harvest
The big leaves of this Yueguangbai white tea were harvested in Autumn season and pressed into cakes on Christmas day, making this tea cake a very precious gift from our ancient trees of Pasha mountain local variety. We very rarely harvest our trees two time a year and we collect a very small quantity, to avoid overstressing the trees.
This Yueguangbai tea is quite a rarity and it's clear sweetness make it even more special. In the taste you'll find all the richness expressed by the Pasha ancient tree's leaves with floral and botanical notes embraced by vibrant fruity and juicy notes reminding of ripe apricots and the sweetness of honey.
As in our 2024 Yueguangbai from Spring harvest, in this tea cake you'll also find an energetic feeling: its Qi and its low oxidation recalls our ancient trees pu'er, taking it to a new boundary of softness - yet keeping all the reaches and great potential of transformation through time.
It is a tea that can be drunk immediately and enjoyed in any season or it can be aged, allowing time to create treasures on its leaves.
The fierce leaves are from the Pasha cultivar, that give a unique power and strength to its brew, becoming a unique, intense tea from this ancient pu’er tea land.
