A tasting through places and time, this event mixes our Yunnanese identity with our extensive travels in Fuding, bringing our personal experience of the essence of white tea.

White tea in Yunnan has an ancestral figure with wild forest traits, but Fuding is the area where white tea was culturally codified, making it essential for understanding and deepening the technique and history of Chinese tea manufacturing.

During this event we deepen the knowledge of two of the most representative white teas from Yunnan, both from ancient trees and original cultivars, deriving from century-old forests and culture.

Alongside, we propose a study of two important Fuding white teas: this production area has a long history of imperial white tea, its art is the most flawless, and its technique evolves season after season. It is an essential tea area for every tea producer, and from its core land, we present a 2018 Baimudan and a 2012 Shoumei, both harvested and aged by the same producer, in the same conditions, for a rare vertical tasting.

We'll close our event by tasting a new white tea with tangerine peel, pressed in our Yunnanese land following a personal selection.

This event will take place on Saturday October 12th at 10 am hosted by our founders Vivian and Lorenzo in our tearoom in Milan. Seats are limited: we suggest to book your seat soon to avoid missing your chance. 

In the weekends of October 12th and 19th our Milan tearoom will hold a series of four different events all hosted by our founders.
