Almost Perfect: A Tea Just Shy of Greatness

A calm and subtle interplay of aromas defines this tea. It’s clearly of high quality—much better than many teas I’ve tried. Still, I couldn’t help but feel a slight sense of disappointment. The last huangpian I tasted left a deeper impression: it was rich, thick, and oily in texture, with a balsamic consistency and a refreshing finish. Sadly, that one was sold out—and honestly, it’s no surprise why.

That said, I still truly appreciate this tea. It carries the same attention to quality that I’ve come to expect from Eastern Leaves. The packaging is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, enhancing the overall experience. While it might not match the richness of my previous favorite, it’s undeniably a fine tea in its own right.
