Tieguanyin 花香铁观音 - Light Roasting
Tie Guanyin - the Iron Goddess of Mercy - is one of the most famous wulong teas in all of China. The floral fragrance, typical of its homonymous cultivar, enchants the palate, bringing to the cup the great harmony of colors of a spring field, and the most mesmerizing creamy taste.
The lightly roasted version is the more traditional, and the perfect choice for the most delicate palates, who will be surprised by the great floral bouquet with lingering notes of orchid and narcissus. The dry leaves are tightly rolled into emerald spheres, that open in the teacup disclosing a sweet scent, and a beautiful green hue that shines in the liquor. The roasted notes only emerge in the aftertaste, like a gentle breeze, leaving a complex flavor in the palate and creating a sense of anticipation for the next brews, and the new sensorial journey that will come with them.
