This narrative of flavors will compare the historical evolution of tea and brewing techniques through time, the main theme of the first edition of Milano Tea Week, with the history of mooncakes (月饼 yuèbǐng), the most appreciated traditional Chinese dessert prepared exclusively for the Moon festival.

Explore three distinct tea brewing traditions paired with delicious artisan mooncakes by Mu Dimsum restaurant, where the event will take place:

1. Song Dynasty Style (Powdered Tea Technique)

   • Tea: Our signature powdered white tea

   • Pairing: Matcha Mooncake

2. Ming Dynasty Style (Yixing Teapot Infusion)

   • Tea: Yixing red tea brewed in traditional clayware

   • Pairing: Cream Mooncake

3. Chaozhou Style (Gaiwan Preparation)

   • Tea: Dancong Oolong Tea

   • Pairing: Chocolate Mooncake
