Harvested in the spring of 2025 from centuries-old trees growing on Lunan Mountain, this Sheng Pu’er captures the quiet vitality and elegance of a land shaped only by time and nature. These ancient trees draw deeply from mineral-rich soils, and in spring 2025 they gifted us a true treasure, remarkable for its purity and profound depth.
From the very first infusion, a fresh botanical bouquet rises, bright and green like a forest after rain, as the leaves release fragrances of pineapple and litchi. The liquor shines pale gold, delicate in appearance, yet alive with vitality. A mild astringency gives way to a lasting sweetness, evocative of wild honey and ripe stone fruit, that lingers long after the sip, coating the palate in mineral clarity.
Delicate floral and herbal notes of angelica root drift through each brew, like morning breeze stirring blossoms in a high mountain. It feels as though you are walking through the forest where this tea was born, where the air is clean, the earth rich, and every leaf carries a quiet story.
Balanced and energetic, this Sheng Pu’er embodies both freshness and depth. Its evolving character hints at the years to come, promising even greater complexity with natural aging.
