Peach Tieguanyin 桃子铁观音 - Scented Wulong Tea
Peach Tieguanyin is one of the curious variations from the traditional light-roasted Anxi Tieguanyin. One would scarcely have expected that a tea which is quite remarkable for its delicate floral scent, reminiscent of orchids and honey, would ever be fitted to acquire an intense fruity twist, and an inebriating scent of peach.
This nectarine Tieguanyin is as surprising as it sounds, its liquor pale green as it suits a low-roasted tea, exhibiting a faint tint of yellow and pink as the infusion continues. The aroma is perfectly balanced, and the fruity hue never hides the typical freshness of this celebrated wulong tea. The pure leaves absorb the fruity fragrance at night, and part with it by day, keeping the memory of its sweetness.
It is an interesting and sweet variation, perfect to be brewed hot or in cold brew for a refreshing and soothing beverage. It is a tea that can attract the attention with its charming fragrance, and promises to enchant with a unique aroma.

I can't get enough of this Wulong. I served this tea to a good friend a few weeks ago and she told me recently that she still gets hints of remembering the peach scent from the tea. I will be ordering more :)
Dear Nichole, thank you for your warm words! Being part of your treating a friend fills us with pride and joy. It is fantastic when tea becomes a lasting flavourful memory, and it is even more charming when this memory is shared with a beloved friend.
