Tieguanyin 浓香铁观音 - High Roasting
This new version of the more common low-roasted Tieguanyin is the traditional version of this famous wulong: it has a fragrant twist, with warm fruity notes and and hues of boiled chestnuts and pop-corns. Its tightly rolled leaves are darker in color and disclose a very delicate roasted aroma, that slowly fills the palate with a long-lasting fragrance and a creamy aftertaste.
Tieguanyin - the Iron Goddess of Mercy - derives from the homonymous cultivar grown in Anxi, Fujian province. This cultivar gives the tea a typical creaminess and floral hue, that can be immediately felt at first sip. It is the perfect choice for low-roasted wulong tea lovers who wish to feel the warming sensation of a higher roasting, particularly suitable for the first days of autumn.

I first tasted this TGY high roasted during an event Rhyme of Tie Guan Yin and it was a huge « coup de coeur » like we say French People. The fact that it is roasted exhales even more the string flowery aromas and I think it’s the perfect tea for the autumn. Since I bought this tea, I brewed it like 5/6 times eith Gong fu cha method and we can easily brew it like 10 times ! We can have fabulous moments with that tea , I highly recommend it
