Yunnan Tieguanyin 云南铁观音 - Light Roasting
A rare wulong tea created in Baoshan, Yunnan province, using a famous Taiwanese cultivar, Qingxin, a small shrub with small-sized leaves, and processed using the classic technique of Tieguanyin from Fujian province.
The traditional light roasting finishing used here, gives this tea a beautiful floral fragrance - 花香 Huāxiāng - that defines the taste of this wulong tea together with creamy notes of pastry and a velvety mouthfeel that envelops the palate. The soil used in the cultivation of this special Tieguanyin tea is volcanic, which adds a unique minerality in its flavor.
The leaves are clearly distinguishable from the original Lightly Roasted Anxi Tieguanyin, by the particularly small size of its leaves. This tea leaves are delicately rolled resulting in the traditional dragonfly-head shape - Qīngtíng tóu 蜻蜓头.

Format: 40 gr. Signature packs
Storage: the leaves can be stored in their original package or in ceramic vases. Avoid heat, light, and moisture.
Tea/Water Ratio: 1 gr. of tea every 25 ml of water
Rinse: before starting the infusion, rinse the leaves with a very fast washing in order to let them rehydrate and release a more intense brew. Gently cover the leaves with boiling water and pour it after a few seconds.
Brewing time: Begin with a 15-second brew. Increase with each successive brew as needed.

Brewing: put the tea leaves in room temperature water and steep for 7-8 hours. Filter the liquor and drink within 24 hours.

Within the European Union the shipping time is between 1-5 days, while for Extra-UE shipment the delivery time varies between 5 and 12 days. Orders are shipped on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: for special requests, please add a note to your order, we will endeavor to fulfill them.
In Italy we ship through BRT. In Europe and US we ship through DHL Express courier or UPS; For shipments in Italy, you can select a BRT point where to collect your package, for shipments Europe you can choose a UPS point, and for the US you can choose a DHL service point. In Asia we use EMS.
